“Lane has an incredibly high IQ and is able to seamlessly play 1–3; supremely comfortable as the primary ball handler as well as playing off-ball. One of Lane’s strongest skills is his ability to play at his own pace — shades of Luka in his game, with the ability to decelerate and euro step to go along with tremendous footwork and finishing in the paint. With his height and frame, he’s able to hold off defenders and play-make or shoot over smaller defenders. Tremendously skilled on the court and a bonafide leader and culture-setting player off of it.”
